Upping the Pressures to Suit New Building Boom – Primotek launch PN25 Rated Metering Stations

The next few years will see far more skyscrapers appearing, as London goes through a high-rise boom. The 310m Shard London Bridge, 288m Bishopsgate Tower, 242m Heron Tower, 225m 122 Leadenhall Street and 214m and 189m Riverside South  and around 30 other skyscrapers over 150m are in planning and could transform the city's skyline.
Overseas there are also many challenges caused by the need to “build tall”.

In Hong Kong, the Centre for Asian Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CATBUH) was established in 1997 to assess the unique challenges caused by these designs.

Primotek Associates Limited has reacted to these opportunities by introducing a range of PN25 (25 bar) rated stainless steel Metering Stations (also known as orifice plates) for measuring hot and chilled water flows in buildings. Available in sizes from 50mm to 900mm, this range ideally complements the PN16 range of Metering Stations launched earlier this year.
