Primotek introduce a New range of Stainless Steel Metering Stations

Primotek Associates Limited has recently introduced a range of Stainless Steel Metering Stations (also known as Orifice Plates) used for measurement of water flows in heating and chilled water HVAC systems.

Manufactured in 304 grade stainless steel, with 316 st.st. being optionally available the range covers the popular 50mm to 300mm sizes but also has been extended to encompass the more infrequently required sizes for large bore piping systems in sizes 350mm to 900mm

The opportunity for supplying larger sizes arose from discussions with a client in Hong Kong who was experiencing difficulties with a traditional supplier who had little interest in supplying large size products in small quantities causing consulting engineers and contractors with supply problems for projects designed around previously available products.
Primotek stepped in and designed and supplied 800mm nominal bore Metering Stations to the project.
The extension of the range to incorporate all sizes from 350mm to 900mm was a natural progression.

And it didn’t stop there!!

Primotek has already reacted to specific customer needs in the Middle East for Metering Stations by designing and supplying 1100mm and actively quoting sizes up to 1500mm nominal bore.
